We leaned into October’s magic and a little mystery for this month’s Metalsmithing Challenge in the Slowmade Collective. The theme was “Spooky,” and it gave us permission to wander out of our usual rhythm and make something simply because it amused us.
Next up — November.
We’ll be building a piece (or small object) that carries at least three symbols.
Snake. Eye. Heart. Stars.
Whatever calls.
Feels like a chance to play in meaning…
and see what unfolds when we let symbols talk to each other.
